They have lied before. Still waiting for that tenure thing to be settled.

Exactly! Which is why I'm not holding my breath but I'm also not excluding anything. That's one thing I learned from being in so many fandoms: tptb lie... And not necessarily to be malicious, it's just that they don't know what to do... They're kinda clueless. And also TBBT writers in particular are so all over the map that honestly who knows!
There's one rumour which I think is just made up, one news outlet are exaggerating the talk of pregnancy problems and suggesting Bernadette might lose the baby. Personally I doubt it very much. I'm sure it will just be horrible rages with her being an insufferable biatch. Which they seem to think is amusing and is one but not the only reason I don't think much of the character.
"Tuesday Pajamas":

"We are the subculture of Big Bang, we have no real voice. Just this little pocket of the internet. No point bashing our head against a wall."

Yes, but we are here, and the fact that we all load our posts on this side...that is our voice. We are not loners but came together as a great argumentative unit of convictions. And so I cannot imagine that we are not acquainted "there".

As mentioned , it seems that the producers would be orient to the wishes of the "other" fans. (Re-wedding and so on.) If that is really true, than I am convinced that they know us well. And so long we are uploading our thoughts on this side we show that we are a closed phalanx that can not be ignored. I am shure they do not.
So, no matter what will happen, I think it is imporpant that we not fall into scilence but always proclaim our opinnions.

“There’s always someone paying attention."

"QueenOfShebaSays"
:

"Remember, TBBT could still maybe pull a HIMYM and shock us all and switch things up if this is truly the last season! I'm not holding my breath but since the show pretty much isn't planned... ANYTHING is possible."

Yes. Well, if there is a thing which we can see in the history of the TV, than that the few series have a proper plan . When I remember right than "Babylon 5" was an exception in which the producer knew from the start where the journey would go. But the most shows starts only with kinds of characters and with a concept, but not with a masterplan.  (Especially not the sitcoms). Also "TBBT" not, so....yes, ANYTHING is possible.

And that producer are lying is also nothing new.
Remember "Star Trek: Into Darkness". The producers said that  Benedict Cumberbatchs character would not be "Khan Noonien Singh". And who was he? Dodgy

Or that Christoph Waltz character in "Spectre" would not be "Blofeld" Who was he? Dodgy Dodgy

The statements of producers are always to take with caution, because all could be only strategy.

One of the "Ferengi"-rules is :" Hear everything , believe nothing."

And at no other category this is so much true like at the movie/TV-business.

So I still think, that we can have the hope to see one day/episode that Penny and Sheldon will come closer and the "Shenny" will really come true. Soft Kitty Heart Blossom

Chins up and stay strong, fellow "Shenny"-shippers.

Greetings from Germany.

P.S.:

"chaotic temptation":

"I  always get the feeling that long after Leonard and/or Amy are out of the picture, Sheldon and Penny would still be in each other's life."

Yes, they would be always there for each other. Definitely.
CBS Entertainment chief Glenn Geller said at the Television Critics Association press tour, echoing earlier comments from Warner Bros. executives.

"Current three-year contracts for stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco, estimated at $1 million per episode, expire next May.

But "we're very confident that everyone involved wants more Big Bang Theory past year 10," Geller said, adding it's likely Warner Bros. will make those cast deals.

CBS can use the show: It has yet to develop a major hit that can replace the dominant sitcom, which will lead off Mondays this fall before shifting back to Thursdays in late October after the network completes its Thursday Night Football schedule. Big Bang Theory averaged 20.6 million viewers last season when 7-day delayed viewing is factored in, one of only two network series to top 20 million. (The other is NCIS)."
So pretty much nothing is confirmed still... I mean that's the same answer they've been giving for the last few months. I find it interesting that nothing's come from it yet. But I guess since it doesn't effect this season there is not rush. What if the three want more money?

If the big three want more money they'll need to find it somewhere. They are the only ones CBS and WB consider necessary to the show. I have a couple of suggestions.
On mentioned german website "Serienjunkies.de", there also published statements from Mister Molaro.

The first one relates to Bernies pregnancy and declared that they will be to take it slow.
That is nothing new.

The second one relates to the question ot Penny and Leonard will really step to the wedding altar.

Molaro: "There are still a lot of tension between the parents . There are still some obstacles in the way before we get to the ceremony , if they make it at all. " (29.07.16)

Well, I find this utterance interesting. Have they grasped, that  the "Lenny" is a "stillbirth" and that their whole relationship over the year was a an artificially alive held construct?

Hope so.
If at all? Be nice to be spared another expression of Lenny's arrangement.

Maybe the show will get all deep and meaningful and have Leonard realise he doesn't need a blonde trophy to fill the hole left from his mothers neglect. Have Leonard experience an epithany and end the marriage. Maybe it will make a bold statement about things/people we can't have, and which we think will complete us and ultimately don't. Instead of perpetuating the idea that another person being 'won over' by someone less attractive will solve all our issues. That attraction is the only bond necessary and a real connection that goes beyond looks (like she has with Sheldon) is lesser and can be written off as familial.

Hope so.

I'm starting to think that the first episode won't revolve around resolving Sheldon and Leonard's parents stuff AND a Lenny wedding bc that never made any sense and it's too much for so little time. Me thinks we won't see stuff for a bit. But see! This is why we can't take what tptb say with a grain of salt. They're always changing their minds. Yeah... And I hope maybe we will see a change of heart from Lenny... Could they not really be married and Penny is finally free!? (Classic sitcom gag but with a twist bc she doesn't want to re-marry him.) OR WHAT!? Good find Ratman77!
