Favourite Songs (at the moment)

I had one of those ' revival music moments' last week, which mostly involved the Smiths, Echo and Bunny, and Jamiroquai's 'Stillness in time'. But I really know it's summer now; strawberrys, leaves on trees, and this track has to be played to kick it off!

Too many rock bands at Glasto for me. I preferred; Dolly, Disclosure ft ED Macfarlane, and London Grammar(not this clip, but there's a certain moment when a band starts raving!!).

In 'Gnod' I trust.

My favourite new band of the moment. Video is not much to look at but just trip out to it in the background of anything and it's a trance so lushhhhhhh!! You'll need a good 10 mins to be immersed in Gnod it takes a while.... IT'S SO GOOOOD.

I like this thread, because I've never heard of most of the musicians. (Gnod seem to be Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles, genus!). I love this at moment; from 'call to prayer' at beginning, to eclectic lyrics. (from: 'World Peace Is Non of Your Business!')

The wonderful Giorgio Moroder was on radio today. He said when he saw Star Wars, and the Cantina Band purporting to be the music of the future, he made this in three hours. Take that John Williams!
