I don't know if this is a considered a "tick" or not, but I really enjoyed Sick!Sheldon. Jim Parsons was brilliant in The Pancake Anomaly and showed that even while Sheldon was sick, there is still a strict routine that needs to be adhered to, to include a vapo-rubdown and soft kitty serenade by the still somewhat new neighbor, Penny.

That awful, awful hair...what is going on with that?

Sheldon looked older and more focussed, I can't quite work out if it is all make-up and lighting, or whether Jim has just stopped holding his facial muscles in 'Sheldon' mode. The light of intelligence has gone out behind his features.
