So I haven't been stuck on a CD for a long time but I am stuck on Ryan Adams' remake of Taylor Swift's 1989. I am hardly a Taylor Swift fan. Couldn't listen past the second cut on her version. But I am a big Ryan Adams fan and have been since his Whiskeytown days. Here's a link to a live version of Adams doing Bad Blood on The Daily Show.

For those of us outside the US of A who can't see Dev's link, here's a link to Ryan Adams' rendition of Blank Space, also from the Daily Show:

Haven't heard the rest of the songs but RA's version of TS's singles from 1989 sound so good! Before this, the only song I know by RA is his rendition of "Wonderwall", which is also lovely. Thanks for sharing about this, Dev!

Ryan's covers are good but you should also check out his original stuff which is pretty amazing. I recommend Heartbreaker, Gold, Easy Tiger and 29.

I'm mostly a big country music lover(But not Old Country). And I have a LOT of songs I love listening to for a variety of reasons and are my(mostly enduring) favorite songs(at the moment).
How I felt about TBBT going downhill:
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
...And you let her go
How I feel about TBBT overall:
Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I can feel you again
But I just miss you, and I just wish you were a better man
And I know why we had to say goodbye
Like the back of my hand
And I just miss you, and I just wish you were a better man
How I feel about keeping up with the show(Even if only via news articles and stuff):
And it’s always on your terms
I’m hanging on every careless word
Hoping it might turn sweet again
Like it was in the beginning

Some more:
How I felt about the first 2-3.5 seasons:
And I bet right now you're probably thinkin'
That it's crazy I remember every detail, but I do
From your blue jeans to your shoes
Girl, that night was just like you
Unforgettable
Or
You brushed away your blonde hair
And you kissed me out of nowhere
I can still show you the spot
Where everything went down
How I felt about the Shamy/Lenny marriages:
I'll wear my black suit, black tie, hide out in the back
I'll do a strong shot of whiskey straight out the flask
I'll try to make it through without crying so nobody sees
Yeah, she wanna get married
But she don't wanna marry me

Last one for the moment:
My song for the Shenny Ship:
I was a boat stuck in a bottle
That never got the chance to touch the sea
Just forgot on the shelf
No wind in the sails
Going no where with no one but me
I was one in one-hundred billion
A burned out star in a galaxy
Just lost in the sky wondering why
Everyone else shines out but me
In remembrance of Sheldon and Penny in the Early Seasons(Also to make you cry if you watched/love This Is Us):
We were golden, we were fire, we were magic
Yeah, and they all knew our names all over town
We had it made in the middle of the madness
We were neon in a grey crowd
Yeah, we wrote our own story
Full of blood sweat and heartbeats
We didn’t do it for the fame or the glory
And but we went down in history
And I got a bunch more, but they can come later.

^Although country is an alien music form to me, I like the idea, a Shenny Playlist. I just can't think of any yet!
