It's been a good week for Jim and the show. Both scored GG nominations.

  7.11 The Cooper Extraction
Posted by: Toad - 12-13-2013, 11:48 AM - Forum: Season 7 - Replies (4)

All in all, a fairly solid episode with some pretty funny "dream" sequences. I loved the surreal way that hapless Stuart kept injecting himself into the other's fantasies. I could have stood a bit more Zack. And definitely more Mary Cooper, who was just an offscreen screech.

No one's ship is better (or worse) off than before, and I didn't detect a "Death of Shenny" vibe during the Sheldon and Penny dream because it was quite explicitly AMY'S wish-propelled fantasy. Interesting though that she imagines her "bestie" using porno moves and "dirty girl" talk on Sheldon. Hmmm.

Sheldon's Skypes sort of reminded me of Howard's increasingly harrowing calls to Bernadette when he was undergoing astronaut training. "I've seen things. LADY things."

  Homo Novus – Near Extinction – Recent Sightings Of

In late Season 4, Homo Novus spun a cocoon out of Flash comics and mint-in-package action figures, and emerged early Season 5, a boorish, twanging, goofy, redneck, homily-spouting, mean-spirited fool, who subsequently went through a two year spasm of betraying all his principles. As Vintage Sheldon occasionally eyeballs through his current papier-mâché pantomime mask, and manages a brief fling at reassembling his dignity, we ask that you report any sightings of such events to this thread.
To begin with;
