Gripe - I will check that out when I'm at home. I usually prefer obscure music but that new song 'Happy' that's doing the rounds has totally got me hooked. It just makes me feel good.

Kind of embarrassed to say my current "favorite song" isn't new. I recently went on YouTube to look up Sheldon/Penny moments and came across this amazing AU video by Bazingasheldonpenny and the song is Breathe Again by Sara Bareilles.
Crap, now I have to go watch it again.

I'm going to go watch it now, because I've never seen it.
I have such an eclectic taste in music.
I tell you what song is stuck in my head at this moment, is from this

damn you, Madison Avenue.
The band who wrote and sings the song is Civil Twilight.

"Demons," by Imagine Dragons. Loved that song before it was even released as a single. Actually, anything from Imagine Dragons' debut album.

I watched this a second time today, and the tune hooked itself into my brain and flitted about there for the rest of the day. I AIN'T complaining! I really like it.
Two questions. Is there a name for this genre? The style and instrumentation are unlike anything I've ever heard. And, second, has your pal ever done any acting? Outside of his videos I mean.

Fragments of Time-Daft Punk
Doing It Right-Daft Punk (can I just say that I'm glad that they got some Grammys for Random Access Memories, They are the shit even though I think their other albums were better)
Under Control-Ellie Goulding (not all that new but the radio is playing it out right now...)
some songs by Donald Glover from Community, which were surprisingly good. I don't remember the names because it was on iTunes radio and I didn't look.
Born and Raised (the whole album)-John Mayer
White Flag Warrior- The Flobots
Mayday!- The Flobots
Wing$-Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Oh and my entire Incubus discography (thanks iTunes shuffle)
not exactly new, but my current favorite songs
