Too bad he is still doing the next season. Interested to see what Chibnall does with the franchise.

Just something silly since they took all of Doctor Who off Netflix.
They've asked Peter to stay through season 11. I hope he takes time to think about it before committing. Season 11 wouldn't film until 2018 at the earliest (and that's if BBC and the show runner has their act together). It would be silly to make a commitment this far out since it will interfere with what roles he can take.
Signing up as the Doctor meant he had to quit as Cardinal Richelieu, which was a shame. ( 'Musketeers' was *educational*, history and literature and everything...)
Well they didn't kill the Cardinal, I'm sure if they put some thought into it, there's a way he could come back for a season
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Doctor Puppet. It's stop-motion animation that is brilliantly put together, and though 11 is the main character here, all Doctors are featured in the seven episodes that are posted. Still awaiting the eighth one.  Heart  Blossom Heart

Not sure what this means as I'm a few seasons behind but apparently Capaldi is hinting that Clara might not have been completely successful with her mind wipe, so maybe she'll be back?
Finally watched the Husbands of River Song (I know, I'm WAY behind). It wasn't bad, but I really couldn't connect with how "sad" it was supposed to be. River Song (and Canon) has been retconned so many times by Moffat, her character doesn't move me anymore.

Still haven't watched season nine, I heard it was better than eight (talk about a low bar) but still can't seem to hit play. Anyone watch it?
I drifted away after all that bullshit with Clara, and the truly offensive Cybermen clusterfuck. I love Capaldi, but the scripts are increasingly awful and concentrate more on the Mary-Sue Companions now.

River Song is the most fuckawful travesty of character devolution, on a par with Donna's fate. *rage*
After watching them all I have to say I'm disappointed in Capaldi. I wanted so much to like him, he has a great presence and expressive face but he just doesn't portray a very wide range of emotion. He lacks something.
