Wow! The Kids Choice Award, what a honor! With this award, his People's Choice Award and the Teen Choice Award he's sure to win this year, who cares about Emmy's and Golden Globes anymore  Sarcasm

Well, one thing it shows is that regardless of what critics think, fans still love him... And well he wouldn't be here without the fans.

But it also proves it's just a kids/family show now. It's about juvenile humor and Middle/high school romance and bullying that sends kids the messages that if you stalk and manipulate the one you want enough they'll eventually give in, or that you'll never be "normal" if you like nerd stuff, and if you can get someone to date/marry you they'll only be tolerating your interests until they can make you "grow" out of them.

Jim used to win Important awards because he was doing an incredible job giving life to this amazingly scary smart, quirky and complex character. Now they've dumbed down the character so much the only awards he's nominated for are ones where the main purpose is to have tweens and teens (cause most adults don't have that kind of time or commitment) spend hours tweeting, and texting their vote 100's of times for their favorites...and that makes me sad.

you're right. Even though Jim was nominated for a Sag last month. That's an important award. But I get your general point.
SAG Awards are the Actors telling each other how great they are, and you can win if you have an amazing performance, but you can also win by being a very likable person. So I don't consider SAGs as important, But that's just my opinion.

They are kinda important in the industry though. Usually the winners at the sag are goin'to win at the oscars for example.
I was just checking and well regardless of what happens in the future. He's still won 4 Emmys and that's pretty impressive. Awards wise he's got a lot of book ends lol (idk what you do with all those heavy awards lol... )

Here's my main problem I have with the SAG awards, when it comes to TV the SAG's are Johnny come Latelies. They nominate the same people/shows forever hardly ever letting newcomers in, and when they finally deem someone new worthy (i.e. Paid their dues), they'll be nominated for years (even if the show/character is no longer good). Charlie Sheen was nominated for TaaHM for years, when he left they just nominated John Cryer until the show was over. Jim Parsons didn't even get his first SAG nomination until 2013 (2012/2013 they were filming Season 6) and by that time he already had 5 Emmy nominations (3 wins) and a Golden Globe Award on his mantle. Now he's been nominated for a SAG every year since 2013 and it's a nomination that sadly has no meaning anymore...he's just a placeholder until the show ends...and that should make everyone sad.
I see what you mean... I was just looking at Jim's awards lists and yeah. So I see what you mean.

Yes this is absolutely true  but I was talking more in general. Because you were saying he wasn't nominated/won any important Hollywood award this year.
