Penny giving her a heads up kind've reminded me of the first episode in season 6 when he pleaded for Penny to not hurt his 'friend' once he heard the news of her thinking about splitting with Leonard and I think because of Sheldon's favor in mind it persuaded her to not have the balls to do it especially once she saw Leonard give her the puppy dog stare, then it all went downhill from there. Sorry but I was pretty pissed at Sheldon for intervening on her own free will like that and those two should already know that there's just NO nice way of breaking up with Leonard no matter how politely you do it. And is the exact reason why those two will NEVER work out as 'just friends' because Leonard will always see her as a piece of ass rather than someone he could be himself around.
I m with you on that, i don't think a heads up woulda changed much in AFF decision to use the reverse psychology to get sheldon to not break up with her. (can I just state that it is in NO way proof that she is smarter than sheldon, it bugs the hell out of me that this was getting spewed on Facebook) AFF reaction might have been different but i think the result would have been the same. I assume tptb wanted the manipulation and parroting to be the main punchline so we would have had to still deal with it.
I can say that the title of this episode is fitting. if there wasn't a huge difference of opinions with the characters before the damn table, I bet there is one now.
As for everyone else...howardette/raj who? If this is an attempt at a story arc for the couple, throwing it in this episode whilst the Lenny and Shamy crap is distracting everything, was a bad idea.
Can we get back to the original show without every episode becoming a relationship dilemma? There are other comedic devices
