I sincerely hope you are being sarcastic. There was an angry pushback from female fans who wanted to see themselves represented, wanted to see women as equal characters on screen. What was actually thrown back was a disgusting, offensive parody. That was a decision made by a group of male showrunners who have a clear undertone of misogyny in their oeuvre.
