Sorry, but from the beginning of the show there was only one girl Sheldon was peeping and interested in her secondary sexual characteristics. We all knew, right?
".....and says that he thinks of her more as a nanny."
Penny:" The casting was for a porn-movie."
Sheldon:" And? Did you get the role?"........."Can you allow, by the stand of your carreer, to be picky?"
Or:
"Spread your legs and welcome the audience."
All lines, which I would too say to a girl I consider from the beginning on as my "Nanny"!
"That is why he knocks three times. The first one is tradition, and......"
The "three-times-knocking" was one of this spleens, this peculiarities symbolizing Sheldons character. It was never important where it came from but stood as a general feature for his fussy habits.
Why to hell, they write this story?
That is the same mistake George Lucas made when he wanted to explain the "Force" with this "Midichlorian"-nonsense. He demystified so one of the strongest attributes of his saga/characters.
And now they do the same with Sheldon and give, as explanation for this funny habit such a nontypical pathetic-melodramatic backround-story?
