SPOILERS: What fresh hell is this? - S9

The frightening thing Dev is that I could see this playing out on the show for real    Penny is saddled to Lenny forever because of the pregnancy. This has been repeated a lot but I can't help but weigh in: this show is so uninspired. I was able to watch some of the clips from the Jimmy Burrows special and, compared to all the other comedy heavyweights (minus Mike and Molly), it was so evident how much BBT sucked. The creativity, writing, acting - all of it was so mediocre I felt quite embarrassed for the cast. Yes, the show is a ratings success but when it comes to quality, it is sub-par at best.

By this point you mention "Spuffyfan" (sucking from other shows), I take this occasion to express something that I noticed already a long time ago. ( I do not remember if I 've already written , so  Sorry if I did).

Could it be that there are kinds of standart-topics which are used in all sitcoms?
I remember, there was at "Married with children" an episode where the Bundys went to a restaurant and could not pay. Under subterfuges the childs went away so that Peggy and Al had been sitting in the trap. There was an episode at "That Seventies Show" with the same plot, only that it was the gang and not a family.

There was an episode at "Married" where Al became panic because his traditional barber died. A similar problem had Sheldon already too.

At "Seventies" Fez threatened the expulsion from the U.S. unless someone helped him. Red dit. And at "TBBT" the same thing it was with Raj and Sheldons help at the end.

Sometimes I have the suspect that there excist a "story-catalogue" for sitcom-writers because there a too much similars. It is always varied but the topics and the plots repeated-for me- too often that it could be random.

And hey, if I understood correctly, than the only real spoiler it is that Leonard have a secret account, right? So let us not be mad with thouse horror-visions about pregnacy. At the moment it is all open and nothing has been proven.

(He he, well......there is another possibillity. That, if Penny is pregnant, the Baby is from this "secret one night stand " with Sheldon which Mister Parsons mentoied ....................................... But would we want that? I think no. One of the greatest character-strengthenings of both, Penny and Sheldon were always their decency and their loyalty. They would make them to cheaters and would deconstruct their credibility. Cheating is Leonards domain.)

So let us look to this coming events under the following hopes:

"Spuffyfan", you have written that "TBBT" had sucked from so much other shows. True, but in nearly every ones of this other series there was a turnaround at the end. So let hope us that they will suck too in this way.

And:

"Idle Miscreant" has written at "Intimicay" that this "sibling"-motive is one of the most useing topics in romantic comedy and that is always/often this characters are who come together at the end when their canon-partners have disappointed  them.

So let us consider the fact that Leonard have a secret accout as a possible steb in this (the right) direction.
