Cliffhanger: After stewing over the secret bank account (and the fact that Leonard is still being evasive about why he has it) Penny escapes to Nebraska, leaving Leonard a note. As Leonard is reading the note the scene shifts to Nebraska where Penny has just taken a pregnancy test.

The frightening thing Dev is that I could see this playing out on the show for real    Penny is saddled to Lenny forever because of the pregnancy. This has been repeated a lot but I can't help but weigh in: this show is so uninspired. I was able to watch some of the clips from the Jimmy Burrows special and, compared to all the other comedy heavyweights (minus Mike and Molly), it was so evident how much BBT sucked. The creativity, writing, acting - all of it was so mediocre I felt quite embarrassed for the cast. Yes, the show is a ratings success but when it comes to quality, it is sub-par at best.

But it won't be adding a pregnancy this season, the cliffhanger will be her opening up a pregnancy test. So technically it will be next season we would find out if she's pregnant or not.

Season 10: we'll have Bernadette giving birth in the first half, Penny pregnant and giving birth in the second to last episode, making her plot devise over since she fulfilled her duty giving Leonard a smart and beautiful baby, and running throughout the whole season the buildup to the series finale... The Shamy wedding with all the "comedic gems" of Dress shopping, cake tasting, flower choices, bachelor/bachelorette parties and bridezilla jokes
