Apparently in the "Sheldon takes tea to Penny" scene (or the Shenny Tea Party, as Pajamas is referring to it as...
) it transpires that Amy has been unhappy with Sheldon for a while (no surprise there, she's been a senior partner of Hector, Mock and Whine for 3 years), and has kvetched to Penny about it. Penny has advised to "do what makes you happy".
Which is evidently splitting up with Sheldon.
Fine, I'm delighted, and have no complaints.
But Penny, dear charmingly mad character, you hassled Sheldon into dating Fowler in the first place. And repeatedly needled him about his absent sex-life with her. Why not simply either A) Stop hassling him to be "normal". Fowler and Hofstadter already do that enough, or B) HOOK UP WITH HIM YOURSELF.
Alas but you married Hofstadter instead. If you wanted respect, challenge and fidelity, that was a foolish choice.
