You didn't miss anything. This episode once again shows why you can't have an A, B, and C plot going in a 22 minute comedy. This story had the A plot: Sheldon, Leonard and Amy, the B plot: Howard, Stewart, and Raj, and the C plot: Penny's job. Unfortunately the one I enjoyed was the Penny job interview. The rest were rushed, incomplete, OOC, strange, and wrong.
