O the Humanities! - TBBT related "Art" (and other things)
Okay, so Toad happened to stumble upon a comic I made about two years ago, when I..how do I explain this.. See, I had/have these aspirations of becoming a screenwriter. And I'd made up my mind that I wanted to try to submit some spec scripts to an agent in hopes of getting an interview over at BBT. And..well, you know writers and our minds.. Wink I had it in my mind that I was a shoo-in. So, while I was working on the scripts..through a friend, I discovered Facebook Bitstrips. I realized after a bit that I could create my own profiles of famous people, and make avatars for them for my avatar to hang out and interact with. So I came up with the Chuck Lorre avatar. And, to you, you know, laff at myself a little bit about my 'big dreams'.

So yeah, having a little fun (and inspired by how well the avatar of Chuck actually turned out), I decided to make this comic strip, titled, "She's Got Chuck--Starring Chuck Lorre and His Gal Pal Kim Krause". The description was: "Tune into the hilarious new Facebook reality series, exploring the unique online friendship between tv comedy mogul Chuck Lorre and his equally mogulistic gal pal Kim Krause"--because, yeah, I felt sure I was going to follow in his footsteps and be a mogul real soon.. I called it "She's Got Chuck" to loosely base it on the online relationship between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in the movie "You've Got Mail", minus the romantic aspect, of course..

So anyway..decided to try and post them here, just for a few laffs. I'm also including some of the brilliantly funny strips my best friend Daron made without my knowledge. I admit it, his stuff was funnier than mine when it came to me n'ol Chuck. As a side note: Daron passed away this past January..completely took us all by surprise 'cos we're the same age/went to high-school together. So I'm gonna include one of the comics that he made of him and Chuck together. It's BBT-related, as well. So you might find it cute/funny.

Here's the first one, it was the comic I made for the banner:
