It will be interesting to see how long these 'negotiations' drag on for. I don't think they effect the premier date.
Jim having a new rep, is interesting. Is he finally going for more money than the others?
Maybe we should start a wager...

I'm not sure if this article got it wrong but there's no mention of Johnny not turning up for work...

According to the news on BBC Red Button this morning, all the main cast never turned up on the first day of shooting.

I suspect the table read was canceled before anyone ever had a chance to turn up. And CBS is saying it's a day-by-day decision. By now we should know whether anything happened today. I would think not.

At TCA two weeks ago, CBS chairman Nina Tassler did not sound worried. “We’re feeling very confident that everything will work out,” she said of the negotiations."
Of course the CBS chairman doesn't sound worried, if she did it's not like she would say it I did notice the article stating that Simon and Kunal are negotiating as a team which leaves me to assume (as it's been stated above) that the Big 3 aren't negotiating together. And now you have the Time Warner/Fox factor thrown in.
The commenters on the article make good points though..

The CBS chair's comments are old. Right now nobody's talking.

A psychic said I should check out ET Tonight. (Better?)
From ET Tonight:
"As production is halted on The Big Bang Theory due to complicated contract negotiations, we're looking back at other TV show casts who also held out for big pay days.
Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco are reportedly seeking $1 million per episode and Jim Parsons, a three-time Emmy winner, is said to be looking for even more.
While it's a steep price to pay, the cast could very well get their way by holding out. Similar strategies were used by the cast of Friends and Modern Family."
Apparently Simon and Kunal are dissatisfied with the numbers they're seeing as they're way off Kaley, Johnny and Jim.

From a business perspective, I agree that JP should get more money. He is the face of the show whether any of the creators or whoever want to acknowledge it or not.
