All in all, a fairly solid episode with some pretty funny "dream" sequences. I loved the surreal way that hapless Stuart kept injecting himself into the other's fantasies. I could have stood a bit more Zack. And definitely more Mary Cooper, who was just an offscreen screech.
No one's ship is better (or worse) off than before, and I didn't detect a "Death of Shenny" vibe during the Sheldon and Penny dream because it was quite explicitly AMY'S wish-propelled fantasy. Interesting though that she imagines her "bestie" using porno moves and "dirty girl" talk on Sheldon. Hmmm.
Sheldon's Skypes sort of reminded me of Howard's increasingly harrowing calls to Bernadette when he was undergoing astronaut training. "I've seen things. LADY things."
OH PLEASE...

I think they waste Stuart, he's actually better than Leonard! Same with Zack. Did not like Amy walking up the stairs trying to touch Sheldon. Creeeeppppy! I shivered and not on a good way.
Kaley was sensational and sooooo sexy. My god she's a beauty! But I do feel that this scene was a direct dig at Shenny. It was the writers way of saying "look how ridiculous this would be!" because it was ridiculous and made them all about sex because in the writers minds there is nothing else to Penny but her body. There never has been, she's just an object for Leonard to turn into a trophy wife.
But I find the idea that Sheldon could be seduced by Penny more believable in real terms than the idea that he's someday going to want sex with someone he doesn't want sex with already: namely Amy. This show started with believable characters and has transformed into a cartoon. Sheldon and Amy's story reads like a children's story. There's no hint of a real man in there, whereas Sheldon as an asexual was already plausible.

Although if they were being at all true to the original Amy character, after Sheldon gave his mud colored hair line, Penny would have said "sounds hot, maybe she can join us"
Leonard's dream was just...just...What an asshat! Really you think that if Penny and Zack were together she would be so dumb she pees herself? What a great boyfriend! O.k., Penny's dream might have been a bit mean, but pretty darn truthful. It's apparent that Leonard thinks that by dating him, he made her so much smarter. yeah, right, all I see is her getting dumber SINCE she started dating you (forgetting how to use a glue gun, and that Vegas weddings are legal)

And Penny would be a lot closer to Sheldon, they were almost two feet apart
It was quite revealing that Penny wouldn't be dating Leonard if he wasn't living with Sheldon. I don't see the great love story we are supposed to believe developed over the years. Penny was just on the rebound.

How ironic. "The Cooper Extraction" title is the perfect way to describe the strange devolving of the character...
