For those of you who know Community, compare the way the writers handled Abed as opposed to Sheldon on BBT. Abed was exceptional and different too but they never reduced him in order to try and earn kudos for other characters. 

Abed stood out because of his uniqueness. They celebrated his differences and allowed that to be who he is. I loved they even got his father to see that in an episode.

But TBBTs writers seem hell bent on making Sheldon conform by taking away any bit that made outstanding. Theses people (the writers) seem to hate people with differences. Or successful people. Or attractive people. Or quirky people.

No wonder the show seems so toxic, its written by some hateful people.

May Sheldon have mercy on their souls.
