Coincidence? I think not. Howard is like Samson; you cut his hair and you take away his power. Both Jewish heroes, both led astray by a woman.

Samson had two vulnerabilities: his attraction to untrustworthy women and his hair, without which he was powerless. These vulnerabilities ultimately proved fatal for him.
