Urmmm, the cartoon genre made Type 2 more assessable to a Type 1 audience? therefore creating something new? It wasn't 'real' people so is could be naughty, with the strangulations etc, and other scenes like the gluttony of Homer, which would be grotesque of a human actor.
As for the writing side of it, it's good but it needs a conclusion and maybe more paragraph breaks. I suspect some of the other members on HQ, like The Toad, will be able to give you some better pointers than me though. Sorry I was always a bit rubbish at essays. Help people, Gripe's asleep... but anyone else?
