Well, what a lucky coincidence - it's in German. I haven't really watched the show in German, always switched to another channel when I saw it. I don't know, somehow it doesn't sound natural to me.

The German language, so exotic(well to me). Here's Sheldon being his pedantic self. JP does this barely noticable expression with his mouth(half way through), it's pure anxiety! Also why does he mention comic book store fire....psychic!

You know how Sheldon has an autocratic view, when it comes to; which were the best episodes of a series, better of the films, comic books, etc. Well I think he'd be arguing for S1>4 of BB. Even Darth Vader's voice has an opinion on Leonard!

We've always drawn a direct correlation between Star Wars: Original Trilogy and TBBT S1-3. There's even the same noble intentions, then the sudden backflip to a party line in direct opposition to the original. The same rampant retconning. I have utterly no doubt that Sheldon would have been strenuously opposed to these wild changes in character and tone for no artistic purpose. Sheldon understood continuity and in-universe validity. The actions of current Sheldon are contrary to his design. Ergo they're not valid, and we can write them off.
More than half of Season 4 is utterly marvelous, but then the atrocious Girls Nights Incorporated begin, and with them the slide into normalcy and traditional romcom land, and the destruction of Sheldon's character so they could keep AFF around, and suddenly it's Phantom Menace all up in your face for 3 years.
Now it looks like the next 3 years will be The Amy Farrah Fowler Show, as she slowly reduces Sheldon to a lifeless husk. A lifeless husk suspended in artificial sappiness.
And judging by the relentless gear-changing into Shamy-Drive this season, these 3 years will not even be relieved by any welcome, brilliant throw-back episodes as Scavenger Vortex, or the 43 Peculiarity. No, it's girly fantasy land all the way.
I still maintain, fervently, that ALL the writers and TPTB can't be happy with this direction. It's too far from the original, and too mawkish for these clever, cynical fellows. And Lorre! How can such a witty, philosophical chap condone this? I really don't get what the devil is going on.
I fail to recognise TBBT in these new episode summaries. Some are truly indistinguishable from Shamy fanfiction. And if there is indeed someone on the staff who is reading this fanfiction, and incorporating it into the plots, as implied by our Shamy colleages, then that is a concept too artistically monstrous to be dwelt upon. And a potentially litigious concept, if Warner Bros ever heard about it.
Noteworthy that George Lucas ALSO thought Jar Jar was a GOOD IDEA. George should have had his crayons taken away from him.
Still waiting for AFF to be CGI-ed into Seasons 1-3...

Jar Jar might end up looking better than Sheldon when all is said and done.

I think we should separate BB into two shows, like you say second could be called AFF show. But also separate characters, so when we talk about Sheldon we know which characteristics make him unique and funny. Have a name for later character, so that the two don't infect each other.
