Oh, fuck, scary Weeping Angel flashback... Just imagine swimming past one of those and having the eyes open. *freaks out and scares the cat*

Yes there's something spooky about underwater statues, like that flying kites at night idea.

![]() 'The Pillars of Creation' This for me is the most beautiful baby picture I've ever seen. I have it in my office and I often stare at it if I feel low about the state of things on planet Earth. Those glowing dots within are not just stars, they're baby stars. I am so awestruck by the beauty of it all and humbled by the knowledge that even as I sit and breathe stars and planets are being formed. The universe is alive and wonderful and I'm thankful to be a part of it.
Let's go exploring!

Quote:To further discombobulate you, here is a sphere made of mouse skulls. Obviously. In Korea, there was a case of a plastic surgeon who had a sculpture in his office made from all the jaw-bones of patients. It was something like 1,000 of them. This is true. There is tons of plastic surgery there, and people want a very specific look; they think a big chin or wide jaw is pretty much the worst feature you can have, for women *and* men, so they get their jaw shaved-down ![]() I won't post a pic, because it's not beautiful. Yes, the guy eventually got in trouble for it. Google it if you dare... I don't usually post about horrifying things, but hey...nothing's more horrifying than BBT Canon... |
