Am I correct in thinking that this sums up the reaction to this episode?

Soooooo my opinion with this episode? So so so sad how much tptb have written Sheldon to the point of being soooo .....dumb....that he couldn't see that AFF was manipulating the crap out of him with her reverse psychology. He was a parroting idiot, for bob's sakeDodgy Penny, Leonard and AFF just bulldozed the guy over a daggone table. And now all of a sudden Leonard is tired of being "pushed" around by Sheldon? Uh, what the hell happen to all the crap said at the end of The Staircase Implementation?

I was finally relieved that Sheldon had the sense to realize that maybe Fowler is the reason for all this "change" and needed to do something about it but alas, I was let down again by Sheldon's apparent gulliblness to Fowler.

EDIT: i want to add that Lenny was no better. Why does he constantly have to have Penny be his voice? GROW A PAIR.

And at one point in the series, the guys were bulling Zach for being dumb. Guess what? Sheldon was Zach 2.0 tonight.

The death blow to Homo Novus was a hard pill to swallow. God speed to those who have yet to witness the carnage. Sad

right? don't worry, there is an obnoxiously loud laugh track at the end of every sentence that covers up the bad writing.

EDIT: by 'covers up' i mean IT DOESNT Dodgy

RE: 7.16 The Table Polarization - FlyingMonkey - 02-28-2014

This just seemed like a stereotypical "clueless man/wise woman" sitcom script that's been done thousands of times before. It could have been an episode of "The Honeymooners", and it probably was. The writers aren't even trying anymore.

And I don't see how anyone can like what Amy's become. Apparently getting what you feel you "deserve" justifies everything. It's only a matter of time before she breaks Sheldon's legs with a sledge hammer.

If this does not say it all.

I was hoping Sheldon and Penny would go toe to toe with each other...another missed opportunity at some actual comedy.
