It does seem to me that, if you've got Penny and Sheldon you've got the perfect team, and also the perfect dinner guests. He knows all the intellectual and theoretical, she knows all the popular culture and has real experience. Heck she even rode Dave Underhill's motorbike. Seem they've got everything covered!

This is how I feel whenever I see Sheldon and Penny together, they are in colour, everyone else is B&W. They make each other more striking. When I see Sheldon with Amy together, and he's wearing one of those white shirts I think ewwww. He looks like a creepy flasher or something, slight exaggeration but I think you know what I mean.

I think we've witnessed the lowering of intelligent content, that's happening across tv and film, over the course of TBBT. I think finding a couple that spark is very rare, killing it off, (no words)! I think a woman like Penny needs challenging, she becomes focused, alive. And the same with Sheldon. I wanted these two to really battle it out(panty pinata), (what would Penny do to Sheldon, next in their battle of wills!). Then they'd have a great respect for each other. But they kill it with sneaky phone call to his mother. That's why the whole mother thing irk's me, they can stop Sheldon. I don't buy it! He would have broke free.

One of the few from the later seasons I like...
Although it was rather sad watching Sheldon puttering cheerfully around Penny's apartment, wanting to have one last dinner together, and to fix her damn plumbing, whilst Leonard was hiding in the bathroom.
I understand Sheldon can be a bit "enthusiastic" about commandeering attention, but it was handled badly.
The poor git looks so contented in that pic, and his two best pals are about to lie to him.
Just for sex by god!
Something similar happened to me in Paris when I was in-between houses, and thus staying with a chum. She fancied some bloke (her fiance at the time I think) and so they blatantly sent me to the pub for 5 hours. They were very clear about their intentions. Leonard and Penny could have been clearer with Sheldon, is all I'm saying...*trails off*
