Penny's little red car was retired for good. The faithful but abused, Tornado Cabriolet has now been replaced by the something decidedly more Beige.

That was remarkably touching. Yeah, I think the demise of this little red car signifies many things, none of them good. Penny's entire life is becoming beige, frankly - a dull, conformist existence. The show won't be happy until it has given her the full Stepford treatment and crushed her into a Desperate Housewife.

Presumably, this is supposed to signify that she is becoming an adult, now, with a sensible grown-up car in a sensible grown-up colour, and she should be responsible and settle down.

I say she should get a little flame-red sports car, kidnap Sheldon and flee for the hills.

Penny is certainly heading for a brick wall fast. I can not believe that the once factual Sheldon did not warn her about her financial situation - but they can't have HIM helping her agin now, can they? *sigh*

That was a touching eulogy, Señor Gripe. A piece of Shenny history is gone That car is the head stone in the demise of my favorite pair.

This is a beautiful page! Very well written, as always. I like how it is brief and precise yet it reveals a lot of the aspects of Sheldon as a fictional character and as a human-being and reminds us why we came to love him! I also love how you alluded to the dismantling of the character by the Show without making the page too depressing. (the "Endangered", "Extinct", "Conservation Dependent" idea was brilliant!)
