"Sheldon and amy visit leonard and penny for the first time since the holidays and share details about their terrible trip to Texas."

I really don't know what to say about this image. New Sheldon the underpants sniffer. Angry How does a germaphobe end up with pants on his face? This is humiliating, its so bad!

The extended promo

He looks so ugly! and of course, (long suffering Sarcasm) Amy is there while he acts like a prat. bring back Lorre and Prady, the new boys should have been kept doing dialogue only. They can't write Sheldon to save their lives!
That must be a evil dream, really.

When I think of how Sheldon was in the first seasons and now see this brainless child they made of him. Angry
And if that were not bad enough......the  scene with his mom at the table.....is he praying there?

Sheldon is PRAYING??????????? Shock Angry Shock

What drugs have the authors taken to fabricate something like THIS???

Really, that hurts.

I have not seen this episode, but after the pictures and the trailer I fear that it is a new low-point.
For the authors:

P.S.1 to "Tuesday": The "likes" for your posts are for your comments Wink , not for the content of the trailer Puke .

P.S. 2: Amy looks here extremly like a grandmother, ...Penny looks sweet Heart  (as always Blush )
I can't come up with any clever puns to go with it

I have yet to see this episode but it looks like manipulative Amy has been taken too repugnant extremes. She drugs Sheldon so she can take him to Texas. This is apparently okay, in fact everything is okay as long as its being done to Sheldon. Because Sheldon is less than a person. He's different. Therefore he's not as 'whole' as the other characters. Amy is a parasite and shows her true colours once more. This post over the other site it spot on and just felt I had to share it;

I love this. They try so hard to sell Shamy and they get a lot of "aww" moments but at the end of the day this is what they are. That image says it all. 'Long-suffering' Amy and 'Annoying-dope' Sheldon. Sheldon and Penny would have been a much more interesting and dare I say it, mature. Amy and Sheldon drag each other down.

The current show doesn't know how much Sheldon meant to the original fans. He blew my mind. But now there are more seasons of Mr Bean Sheldon than there are of our hero. That's sad but it just makes me more determined to protect him from the Molaro rot.

Shenny would have been an iconic couple. None of the canon couples will ever achieve that. I mean look at them! The dialogue and the tension in that scene was perfection. Look how desparately crass Shamy is in comparison, forced, twee...
I saw this episode. Shamy (particularly Amy) was abominable. However, to Sheldon's credit, he appeared to have an epiphany about Amy's thoughts of him (i.e., thinking that he can't do anything, drugging him, etc.) and I would be curious if he continues to have these thoughts in future episodes.

The Lenny flashback was actually not too bad. Yes, Leonard and Penny appear to have no joy in themselves or in each other, but I just about died laughing when they were getting their Christmas tree and it slid off from the roof and blocked their entire front windshield. And then to carry that tree up four flights of stairs? Penny's deadpan "there's a tree on you" when the tree fell on Leonard. I think Leonard and Penny have great chemistry as friends, but not as a couple.
Haven't seen this episode but from what I read here and on wiki, it looks like Leonard and Amy are hi-fiving each other for Amy mixing something in Sheldon's drink without his knowledge. Leonard wants Amy's recipe. Good Lord. WTF.

The cannon relationships are indeed all a bunch of trickery, manipulation, mommy issues, cheating, nagging and apparently now, drugging and kidnapping. That post from another site you shared was spot on.These cannon couples absolutely lack any charm, maturity, sweetness or sex appeal that most iconic romantic couples have.

Years from now, I can't see anything iconic about Lenny and Shamy. sexy, iconic, romantic, passionate- these are not words that come to your mind when you think of Lenny and Shamy. They will forever be the lame punchlines and jokes associated with typical lowest common denominator sitcom couples, full of trickery and inhaler jokes.

I think in a way, it is a blessing that Shenny never became a couple on the show and did not suffer the fate of being written by these writers. Creatively speaking, anything that these writers touch turns to crap, sooner than later. At least Shenny moments of friendship and affection will forever be preserved in seasons 1-5 and their beautiful kisses will be limited to TBBT dream sequences and well written fanfics. Shenny definitely got the best of TBBT, whether you ship them as a couple or not !
I couldn't believe those pics were actually real, so I forced myself and watched the episode. In a nutshell: it's a new all-time low for the show, and that says a lot.

Besides Amy drugging Sheldon, I also coulnd't bear the subliminal message of Sheldon being incapable of living on his own. I mean, did the writers totally forget about early seaons Sheldon? He was independent and very self-sufficient, even before Leonard moved in.

And now, he is Amy's 'little boy' ( Morlock ) who needs nurturing.

Please, let season 10 be the last one!
The Shamy part was incredibly unfunny, talk about watching paint dry. Big Bangs studio audience usually fall over themselves at the sniff of a joke, but their scenes were very notably short on laughter. Sheldon has always known he was not accepted by others, the fact that it bothers him now is not even remotely interesting. The Shamy plot was sad. Amy getting away with drugging Sheldon and then going behind his back in a way that felt so manipulative. This wasn't even resolved either. The rest was just embarrassing. Screaming over his ear pierce? 3 times! Pants on head? Are the writers 12?

Bernadette wailing over not being able to stop the baby crying when someone else could, was the most predictable of all the plots. This could have been a lift from a thousand other sitcoms, the tired new-mother-crying-baby skit. Where's Howards' inventiveness. He's an engineer he should have designed the perfect baby crib. But they never think of anything outside the box. It's all so domestic and ordinary.

I'm surprised to say this but Leonard and Penny were the highlight for me. Leonard's nasal whine didn't let up but Penny, or rather Kaley, always nails it. Those two actually managed to be funny.
