I thought Ses already called dibs on Showrunner? I remember hearing something about having Missy Marry the Showrunner and making her wear different boots In every scene.

'The De-Toddlerization Mandate'

When Sheldon comes to the stunning realization that he has, indeed, succumbed to being someone's 'snuggle bunny'--and thereby letting himself devolve into..shudder..the Beta among the group--he sees he must to do away with humonculous Alpha-in-the-making Leonard, and restore himself to the deserved position of highest echelon. In order to find his "way back", he dispatches the help of ranking Omega Wolowitz, where they together develop a time-machine capable of returning him to his crucial developmental years in East Texas.

Guest stars Tony Danza as the unseemly-but-stern patriarch George Cooper, Sr., and Dame Judi Dench as Sheldon's formidable, but fiercely loving, Meemaw. 

Sheldon's realization comes after Amy proposes to him. "Sheldon, all our friends are married except for Rajesh. We should be married. You're never going to find anyone else willing to marry you so you have to marry me. The sooner the better so we can start having progeny. Well, Sheldon. Ask me to marry you. Go ahead. You already have a ring. It's time."

"Time..." Sheldon was caught like a deer in a headlights. Her eyes aiming at him like a muzzle of double-barreled shotgun. Sweat was gathering on his palms. Breathing heavily. His heart racing in anxiety.

Eidetic memory now flashed in his mind, taking him back, trying to puzzle this together. How did he end up here? Whose fault was it? How to fix it? Trying to find forks in the road. Mapping his life choices. If somehow he could fix them for the better.
He was now back in Texas as a child, when one particular song struck his mind like a bolt of lightning: If I stay here with you girl... Things just couldn't be the same... 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now... And this bird you cannot change...

Finally, a moment of clarity and inspiration. He needed to go back. Away from this nonsense he somehow mangled himself into. Find a way to make all this right again. He knew this wasn't right. He wasn't meant for this. Marriage. With Amy.

"I'm sorry, Amy. But I can't... change."

Sheldon picks up his stuff and with Free Bird playing in the background, he runs from that apartment, towards an adventure of a lifetime.

Leonard was walking up the stairs. He was still a little mystified. Sheldon was nowhere to be found when it was time to return home. As he reached the third floor he heard a familiar voice, his wife Penny in fact, scream at the top of her lungs, "YOU DID WHAT??!!??"
