The new animated film Jim is involved in 'The True Meaning of Smekday'

The cat is dead cute.

Even as a purple alien with tentacle feet, that's still actually pretty much Sheldon, isn't it? (Somewhere in the multiverse, there *is* a version that dances.)
Careful, Jim, your ditz is showing. Confused

Wow Jim is really branching out. Intel spots and animation movies.
Pretty much being nouveau Sheldon (which is Jim) in all of them. Jim is stretching his acting chops from A all the way to B.
The Rosie Project

A Shenny story if ever there was one.

"Don is getting married. He just doesn't know who to yet. But he has designed a very detailed questionnaire to help him find the perfect woman. One thing he already knows, though, is that it's not Rosie [the waitress]. Absolutely, completely, definitely not.

Sometimes, though, you don't find love: love finds you... '

JIM PARSONS as the lead? What a great idea.

The "super-organised and brilliant Don" and "the wild and free-spirited Rosie"?
The "Socially challenged genetics professor who develops a scientific survey to find his perfect partner" and the chaotic female bartender who "fits none of his criteria, yet has a hold over him"?

No, not remotely like Shenny.

Sarcasm

Sounds alright. But I don't like romcoms! Big Grin
I remember when that book came out, there were a load of comparisons, and a definite feel that someone had filed the numbers off a Shenny fanfic. Smile
The girl will be played by Jennifer Lawrence. We just need Jim as the lead.

I've read the book and its sequel. The characters are totally Shenny except Don drinks and is a cycling enthusiast and Rosie smokes. Oh, and they're Australian. Tongue
