Anti matter vs Black holes.
When matter and anti matter hit each other they annihilate each other. However what was left over after most of the matter and anti matter collided its believed to be what has become the universe we have today. So hypothetically if Anti matter hit a black hole what do you believe would be the result? I thought this was a good discussion to bring up on the Big bang forum.
It must happen regularly out there in the swirly soup of space. A black hole is a collapsed star, right? so dark matter (which is still a theory) would be getting sucked in all the time. Surely it would get compressed along with everything else.....?
Okay I just did a little snooping and dark matter doesn't behave like normal matter. It follows no rules, it's the rebel of the universe... SO... urm, it doesn't get sucked in. I like it already.
How the freak would we know! I do know that once Shenny has you in it's gravitational pull, there is no escape!!!

So what do you think the point of adding a forum called "A little physics"? was Is this not physics?
Little, being the operative word. So it's semantics, okay ready! Only joking!!!!!! I'll google the answer like everone else!!!

Black holes and dark matter are indeed an interesting topic. Unfortunately, I'm preoccupied with measure theory this month so I better don't start giving myself even more headaches. Big Grin
