Following in the footsteps of Feynman. The bloke used to take drugs and then go drumming in the desert. Most of Sheldon's weirder behaviours pale besides the real idiosyncrasies of folks like Dirac or Tesla. (And Howard is positively tame compared to Jack Parsons. Dude used to chant to the God Pan before rocket launches.)
